Weekly home practice and practice records.
Students are expected to practice 30 minutes or more each week at home. School music and/or personal music may be used. For complete credit, students should have practice records signed by a parent and complete the total amount of practice time required.
Practice records are due every Monday, although I will accept them later in the same week.
Students should turn in a practice record even if they did not have time to practice. It is important for me to know their practice habits so that I can offer assistance.
Home practice allows students to build their skills at their own pace and to increase the overall productivity of the band and orchestra. |
