Children often like to share their birthday celebration at school with the class by bringing a treat. If your child desires to do this, please contact me before you send something. There are guidelines that dictate what can be served to children during school hours. One that is most important is the treat MUST be packaged, show the ingredients, and not be made at home.
Please use our first grade directory to send birthday invitations in the mail. Invitations may not be passed out at school unless all the students are invited, or for example all the boys or all the girls. Hopefully this will avoid hurt feelings.
Children who have summer birthdays will have a day designated during the last week of school to celebrate their birthdays.
