pencil Homework Policy

Students will have about one hour of homework a night. Almost every night there will be math homework. Students also need to read one hour a week and turn in a weekly reading log in language arts. Every Monday a spelling packet is sent home. The packet is due on Friday. Spelling test will be every Friday.

Pen and Book Student Agendas

Students write all short and long term assignments in their agenda. The agenda should act as a checklist for students and parents. For the first semester I require a parent signature every night indicating that a parent has seen the assignments for the day. I will check each student's agenda every morning for the signature to insure responsibility.

book Book Orders

Book orders will be sent home every month. Students are not required to buy any books from the book orders. I send the books orders home because they do have books at a good price. I receive bonus points for each book order. I use the bonus points to get books for our classroom library. Book orders are always sent home at the beginning of the week and are due no later than Friday.

Dog Drinking Water Bottles

It is important for students to drink plenty of water, especially during our hot weather months. Students may keep a water bottle on their desk. Students are only allowed to keep water on their desks. Other drinks are not allowed at their seats.
