Items that are needed throughout the year are tissues, loose leaf paper, white boards markers, and pencils. I seem to constantly run out of these items during the year. You can drop off this items in the office with my name on them or have your child bring them to me at the beginning of the day.

**pencils
I look at student work regularly. It should be neat and in pencil. If you make a mistake, erase it, don't just scribble it out!
**a marker or pen
Homework is checked daily. Using a different color marker helps students see quickly what problems are wrong. Students should take the time to re-work all errors.
**a spiral notebook
Notes will be taken on a regular basis. This notebook does not have to be a spiral, it could also be bound. This notebook will be a good guide to help students study for upcoming tests or quizzes.
**loose leaf paper
Students use loose leaf for daily assignments. It can be wide rule or college rule. They can write on the front as well as the back of the paper.
**a scientific calculator
This is a basic calculator that allows students to work trigonomic functions. There are many different brands of calculators and price ranges. This calculator should cost approximately $10 - $15. Look for specific buttons: SIN, COS, and TAN. This are the trigonomic buttons. Please have your child put their name on it in permenant marker since many calculators look the same. |
