ˇBienvenidos! Welcome to Sra. Hearld's Spanish Class!
Learning is an exciting adventure. Come along with me as we explore the Spanish language. I trust that this web site will serve as your roadmap to success.

About Sra. Hearld
I was born to a bi-cultural household at a very young age in Columbus, Georgia. My father was from south Alabama, and my mother from Puerto Rico. Hence my two accents. I met my wonderful husband in Atlanta and then moved to the Appalachian Mountains. I shivered there for many years and came to Tucson to thaw. I earned my Bachelor's degree at East Tennessee State University and my Master's degree at the University of Arizona. I have three amazing and interesting children.

I have wanted to be a teacher since I was six years old. That is why I am so excited to be doing what I’m doing, because you are part of my dream come true. I love the Spanish language and culture, partly because I loved my mother so much. I will try to communicate that love to you. So you see, this is not just a job for me. I want to enjoy you, I want you to enjoy me, and together I want us to enjoy expanding our horizons, our ability to communicate, and our understanding of our fellow man.
