Welcome to Wilson K-8. I have had the privilege of being the Principal here for the past four years. I began my career in education when I graduated from Central Washington University with a degree in elementary education in 1978. During my years as a classroom teacher, I taught a variety of subjects and grades, everything from first grade to eighth grade. I went on to receive a Masters of Education in Administration from Western Washington University. Before becoming a Principal , I served as an Assistant Principal at both a middle school and a high school. As the building Principal at Wilson, I plan to continue building on the standards of excellence that have been the cornerstone of this educational community. I will strive to make this school a learning institution that brings a sense of pride to the surrounding community and continue to develop a student centered, safe, and educationally engaging environment. And did I say "FUN"? Oh yes, I expect the staff and students to have fun while taking on the challenges of being life long learners. |
