Computer History
A computer is a machine that takes in information that you give it, and hopefully does what you tell it!
The first machines that looked anything like the computers we have today were made from 1940 to 1945. These computers were very, very large. They took up the size of a large room and used a lot of power.
Luckily, now-a-days we have computers that are smaller and easier to carry around. Not only are they easier to move around but they are getting smaller and smaller. This makes Mrs. Stubb's job, a lot easier!
