- Don't power down without trying to shut down from the start menu.

Note: If you spill any liquids on your keyboard - DO NOT turn it upside down. Blot the liquid off and if necessary, let it air dry.

| Virus Scan |
If you suspect you might have a virus, follow these easy procedures from Amphi on how to check for viruses.
I would recommend doing a virus scan at least once a month. Do this when you know you don't need the computer; as the virus scan can take up to 1/2 hour.

| Spbot Scan |
I have downloaded Spybot on all the computers at Walker. This is a free program that scans for spyware. Run this at least once a month.

| Mouse Care |

| Monitor Care |
- Turn your monitor off before cleaning.
- DO NOT use windex as it will remove the anti-glare coating.
- Use a mild sollution of soap with a damp, soft cloth to clean. Dry with a soft cloth.
