Wolf Magic

The full moon
Awakes animals
Of the night.   The
Sun is down and
Wolves come out
To sing for the
Moon.   The owl
Flies silently through
The night to catch
A mouse or mole.
A wildcat preys
On the silent owl.
But wolves aren’t
Hunting.   They’re
Singing for the
Pearly white
Moon.   The owls
And other predators
Look up from their hunt.
They gaze at the moon
For they cannot sing for
The moon, like wolves.   Their
Wolf magic.
