Counseling Services   

Cross Middle School is staffed with two full-time counselors and a school psychologist who service the needs of all sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students.

Counseling services are available in the following areas:  helping students deal with peer pressure, personal and academic goal setting, organizational strategies, career planning, and arrangement of parent/teacher conferences.  To contact a counselor for Navy and Neon Team 6th grade and 7th grade Copper team students, please call  Pete Fisher at 696-5926. For 7th grade Turquoise Team and all 8th grade students, please contact Brenda Joyce at 696-5927.

 

Weekly group counseling sessions are also available for students that are not meeting academic standards and for those that need help managing anger.
