As the year progresses certain items such as poster board
and floppy disks may be necessary. Your child will be given advance notice before these items are needed in class. The
Neon Team sells pencils (.10), spiral notebooks (.25), and poster board
(.50)
Please routinely check on your child's supply. It is encouraged that students either have a separate folder for each class or a separate section in a binder for each class. This will help keep notes, handouts, and assignment requirements readily available and organized. Please help your child organize papers in his/her backpack at least once a week for the first few months of school. Many times assignments are done but not turned in because they can't be found by the student in the backpack. Organizational skills are learned over a period of time. Please help your child succeed by routinely monitoring the condition of his/her backpack.
There are no lockers available at school. Although students are NOT required to carry textbooks
for their individual classes, a backpack of some sort is recommended to help keep folders, writing supplies, and
miscellaneous materials together.
