Keeling Activities
Listed below are some of the school's supported programs, and after school programs
that are offered at Keeling. For more information on any of these, contact the
phone numbers listed for them or the school office (520-696-6940).
Play and Learn (P.A.L.)
PLAY AND LEARN (P.A.L.)is a before and after school enrichment program presently hosted by Amphi elementary schools and
administered by Amphitheater Extension Programs., Inc. The P.A.L. program is designed primarily for students who are enrolled in kindergarten through third grade.
The After School Activities Program (A.S.A.P.)
is designed for students in grade four, five, and six. It offers a structured homework/study time and opportunities for self direction within a range of activity choices geared for older children. Information regarding
registration and fees may be obtained by calling or visiting the P.A.L. site. P.A.L. is now D.E.S. approved. Call D.E.S. to find out if you qualify for D.E.S. assistance.
KidCo
KidCo is a free after school program run by Tucson Parks and Recreation. Registration occurs twice during the school year.
Girl Scouts
Keeling is proud of the efforts of Girl Scouts. They have helped Keeling in a variety of ways from providing decorations for "Grand Persons Day" to acting as hostesses
for community meetings. If you are interested in the Girl Scout program(s), please leave a message with the Keeling Elementary Office Staff, who will forward the
message to the parent volunteers. Or you may call Sahuaro Girl Scout Council.

This is very valuable resource to the community, providing a clothing bank
as well as assistance for other needs in our area. It is located on the Northeast corner of the school at Los Altos and Glenn.
