Anne Frank Online  This site provides information about Anne Frank, her life and her diary.

American Memory  The site is put together by the Library of Congress and provides more than seven million digital images that tell the stories of the history of the U.S.  Searches can be done by subject area, time line, location of image or type of file (JPEG, WAV etc.).  Lesson plans for middle school and high school students that utilize these images are also available at this site.

Biography  Provides biographical information on famous people.

Professional Catoonists Index  This is a teacher's guide to using the professional cartoonist's  index in your classroom.

Hyper History  3000 years of world history complete with timelines, graphics, maps and lifelines.

Indigenous Australia  This site is a wonderful multimedia experience that explores the history of the indigenous people of Australia.  There are sections For Teachers and For Kids as well as Background Information and Stories for Dreaming.  These stories are passed down over generations about the land, sea and animals of Australia.  They are told by the descendants of the Aboriginal people in short movie format.  They are also available in text or  audio only.

On This Day in History  From the NY Times, this site allows you to find out historical events that happened  on any day in history.

The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World  Provides information, history, maps and more about the seven wonders.
