Effective and Engaging Internet Curriculum

The Internet is a wonderful tool to use in education. However, much of the focus of the Internet in a school setting is retrieving information through search engines. There are many ways in which we can use it with our students to provide them with ways to communicate globally or get information that is not readily available in the classroom. This class will focus on ways to incorporate the Internet into your curriculum beyond using browsers to seek information. The four areas we will be focusing on are publishing Student Work online, Collaborative Projects and Communicating Globally, accessing Real Time data, and accessing Primary Source data.
