Week 1 September 17th - Introductions, Review of State Technology and Academic Standards, evaluation of lesson plans, My Compass Survey, and Amphitheater Policies for Student Publishing and Internet usage.

Week 2 October 1st - Introduction of Student Publishing, prereview of student publishing sites, discussion about obtaining parent permission, preparation of student publishing lesson.

Week 3 October 22nd - Learn to use new Sony Mavica digital camera and gather ideas about integrating the digital camera into the curriculum.  Introduction to GroupWise email program.

Week 4 November 2nd - Introduction to the Cox Education Network software.  Discuss key components of Lesson plan focusing on writing behavioral objects and providing accomodations for special needs of all students.

Week 5 November 12th - Work on Student Publishing Lesson Plan.

Week 6 November 26th - Learn about GroupWise email and calendar.  Discuss and learn about assessing technology integration.

Week 7  December 3rd - Learn about integrating and using real time data in your classroom.  Explore Teachers First Curriculum Matrix website.

Week 8  December 10th - Review the first lesson plan and discuss ways to improve. Learn about integrating primary source materials from the Internet  into your curriculum.  Learn to use the HP Scanjet 5500 scanner for creating your own primary source materials.

Week 9  December 17th - Learn about participating in a Collaborative Project.  Review collaborative project sites.  Explore the TrackStar site.

Week 10 January 7th - Work on Real Time Data Lesson Plan.

Week 11 January 21st -  Real Time Data Lesson Plan due. Use an Internet Teacher Tool like Trackstar, Filimentality, Web Worksheet Wizard or Notable Pics for student activities.

Week 12  February 1st -  Attend the 11th Annual SAzTEA Teaching and Technology Conference.

Week 13  February 4th -  Conference debrief and learn about Research Process Models like the Big6.

Week 14  February 11th - Work on Primary Source Lesson Plan.

Week 15  February 25th - Learn about WebQuests. Explore Blue Web'n  and Gateway to Educational Materials.

Week 16  March 4th -  Attend the Internet Safety Community Forum.

Week 17 March 25th - Discuss the Internet Safety Forum, discuss the importance of teaching students to evaluate information on the Internet, and explore the 4 2 Explore site.

Week 18 April 5th - Lesson Plan work time.

Week 19 April 8th - Lesson Plan reflection and preparation for final presentation.

Week 20 April 22nd - My Compass Evaluation and prepartion for final presentation.

Week 21 May 6th - Final presentations and Awards ceremony.
