The Task
You will be working in a group
of four to create a tool (checklist or rubric) students can use to effectively
evaluate web pages. Each of you will be creating the tool from a different
perspective.
You will:

Look at a variety of web page criteria.

Analyze and synthesize the criteria
to create a checklist or rubric that is appropriate for your students.

Type your checklist or rubric in Microsoft
Word or Excel.

Test your tool at selected web pages
to evaluate the effectiveness.

Make any necessary modifications to
your tool.

Share your tool with your facilitator
and the rest of the group.
