Converting Kilograms to Pounds
I went to a hotel in Japan. The hotel had a scale. Below is
a picture of the scale and how much I weighed in Kilograms.
In my country, I use the English system and I want to know how many pounds I weighed. So I need to convert kilograms to pounds.
To convert you need to know that 1 kilogram = 2.2 pounds. Therefore, if I weighed 25
kilograms, I would multiply 25 times 2.2 and learn that I weighed 55 pounds.
I want to know if I gained
weight while I was visiting Japan. Before I left for Japan I weighed 145 pounds.
On a sheet of paper you will need to convert my weight in kilograms to pounds.
- How much do I weigh?
