CyberGuides - one of the BEST set of student activities and teachers guides correlated with Internet sites. Supplementary units of instruction are based on core works of literature. The site is divided into activities in K-3, 6-8, and 9-12 and provides student and teacher editions, statement of objectives, tasks and processes, and a rubric for assessment. reference, youth, teen, MOO, exhibit hall, reading room, and more. A good
starting point is to go to "Directory and Tour" and learn about
the features of this site. McREL Language Arts Links- a collection of lesson plans, activities, and curriculum resources which link to corresponding standards from the McREL Standards Database. Mighty Books- a collection of books that are read to children, including books written by students. Students click on the appropriate age level and are given a series of books to choose from. Teachers can have students participate in a variety of contests.
