Accepting Amphitheater’s Security Certificate-Netscape 4.x

In order to use the Amphi Web access to Email you will need to make a secure connection.  To do that it will be helpful for you to download and install a certificate.  The certificate basically tells your computer to trust that the encrypted information coming from our server is really, in fact, coming from Amphi.  It does not give us any access to your computer.  It merely allows your computer to verify that when you go to webmail.amphi.com you are getting our server and not an imposter posing as our server.  By accepting this certificate, you should not be bothered by warning messages every time you go to our Web access page. To install the correct security certificate, please follow the steps below.  You may wish to print these instructions out in order to follow them.

1) Click here to access the security certificate installation.

2) The following dialogue box will appear.  Press next to continue.

3)  Press next again to continue.

4)  The following screen appears with information about Amphitheater’s Certificate Authority.  Press next to continue.

5)  When prompted to select the purpose of the Certificate Authority, select all three boxes and press next to continue.

6) If you wish to receive a warning every time you transfer information to a site certified by the Amphitheater Certificate, check the box in the following dialogue box.  Otherwise, press next to continue.

7) Please type in Amphi as the name by which to identify the Certificate Authority.  Press finish to complete the installation of the certificate.
