How do you create a shortcut on the desktop in Windows XP?
 

1.  Right click on the desktop

2.  Mouse over “New”

3.  Click on “Shortcut”

4.  Type in the location you are looking for or click “Browse” to find it

5.  Click “Next”

6.  Create a name for your shortcut (or use the name of the program or file)

7.  Click “Finish”
