Brief Description

Internet ethics is not a subject that is taught in most schools in America. As more schools are using the Internet, it is becoming necessary to teach students about plagiarism and copyright infringement.

Technological Pre-Requisite Technology Skills Materials Accommodations for Special Needs

Students with special needs will be working next to students that are able to help them with this lesson. The criteria used to assess these students will be modified.

Assessment

Students will be assessed on their completed and printed worksheet. Performance on worksheet will be evaluated on quality of definitions that students have written as well as answers to final questions. Most important will be their ability to list critieria used to decide if what they are using from the Internet violates copyright laws or falls under the definition of plagiarism.
