Brief Description
During this WebQuest students
will be asked to gather information about an existing problem in our school
parking lot, analyze the current problems and write a description of the
solution which they will present to the class.

Accommodations for Special
Needs
All students will be working
in groups of three.
Special needs students will
be placed with students that will be able to work with them to help them
be successful in this lesson.
Specifically, students who
are English language learning students, will be working with another student
who will be able to assist them with the English language.
Students who are high level
readers may be placed with students who are lower level readers.
Students who are finished
with their presentation will be asked to choose from one of the activities
listed below:

Write a proposal describing how
this solution should be presented to staff and administrators. This proposal
should include times, location, etc.

Gather data on the correct procedure
for painting lines for parking spaces. Create a list of tools and other
materials that will be needed to complete this project.

Divide students into teams of
three students each

Give each team a floppy disk that
they will label and use with the camera
