Students will create web pages
documenting their study of the houses on historical Main Street in Tucson,
Arizona using primary and secondary resources.

Article: "The Houses on Main
Street", Computer, Scanner, Digital Camera.

Pair students with special
needs with higher able students.
Procedures

Instruct students to read the
article titled "The Houses on Main Street".

Instruct students to choose an
historically important person described in the article to further research.

Take students on a tour of historical
downtown Tucson which includes the houses on Main Street.

Allow students to take photos
of the houses in which the important people they choose lived.

Instruct students to create a
web page incorporating the photos from the article with the photos from
the tour and text describing how the houses were used originally compared
to how they are used today.
Assessment
The creation of a complete
web page with full participation of all students.
