word problem using Kid Pix Deluxe.

Procedures

Assign a type of math word problem
for the students to write. The students create a story that includes
the appropriate operations in a one step or two-step problem. The
students are responsible for proofreading the problem for logic and conventions.
They must solve the problem showing the equation and all steps ending with
the answer accurately labeled.

In this self-editted stage, the
author has two classmates read and solve problem. The
classmates evaluate the problem and prvide feedback.

Using KidPix, the word problem
is written, illustrated and published.
