Procedures

  1. Give the class an Internet safety checklist as a pre-test.

  2. Show and discuss the PowerPoint presentation on Internet safety.
  3. Divide students into groups of 3-5 students of varying abilities.
  4. View safety websites listed on worksheet.
  5. Each group creates a skit that shows how to deal with an unsafe situation on the internet.
  6. Give Internet safety checklist as the posttest. Compare scores and discuss what was learned.
