Bird Feeder Experiment
An Amphi Ed Tech Lesson
This lesson is an online project. Students will discover if the
location of a birdfeeder has an effect on the amount of activity at that
feeder. Students will monitor 3 bird feeders placed at different
locations for 5 consecutive days. They will record the amount of
seed eaten from each feeder and submit their data online. They will
make conclusions about the data they recorded. Meets Arizona State
Technology Standards 1 and 2.
Bug Stories
An Amphi Ed Tech Lesson
This lesson is designed for kindergarten students to create a story
about an insect using Microsoft Paint, after two weeks of a four week insect
unit. Meets Arizona State Technology Standard 3.
Collaborative Phonics PowerPoint
An Amphi Ed Tech Lesson
Students will work in multi-age partnerships to create a slide in PowerPoint
that focuses on a list of words with the same initial sound. Students
will add clip art, digital photos, sound and backgrounds to their slides.

An Amphi TLCF Lesson
In this lesson, students will learn about computers and their hardware
components. They will then identify and label the parts of a computer
using correct terminology. Kidspiration is used to create diagrams
of computers and their different parts. Meets Arizona State Technology

Computer Rules

In this lesson, students will generate criteria for using the computer
and being a good computer user. From this, they will use a word processing
program to create a chart of computer rules which can then be hung in the

What better way to learn about verbs then to watch bugs at play? In
this lesson, students will read an on-line story about different bugs just
doing what they do best. The student plots on an organizer the activities
within the story. This lesson even offers an extension. Great for second
