A Message from ClaudioVisuals

I, Claudio, have been working with the media center, scheduling and delivering audio visual material throughout the District since 1984. The end of this era will occur at the end of this school year. After this year we will no longer schedule or deliver video material through the media center. All titles will be equitably distributed to all school libraries with the core videos to be housed with Vanessa Devine at the Elementary Libraries Office. All teachers will be able to schedule material housed at other libraries by having the librarian schedule and have it delivered via District mail. All titles housed at the elementary libraries office will be scheduled with Vanessa and will also be delivered via District mail. The listing of titles will be made available from Vanessa Devine, Tech Coaches and the Librarian and Library Assistants at your site.

Though we will no longer schedule and deliver videos, laser discs, cdroms, etc. Gordon and I will continue to repair all audio/visual material, from broken video tapes to televisions, and video projectors, etc. We will continue to do preventive maintenance on audio/video equipment every summer. We will also be involved in providing service and installation on 21^st century classroom equipment.

On a personal note, I have had the pleasure of serving teachers with my ClaudioVisual department  for 23 years and have enjoyed relationships with employees throughout the District. I hope to keep those relationships going in my role as AV repairguy.
