2003 Keyboard Shortcuts By Debbie Anthony
Microsoft
Word users know that creating a document involves more than just
typing. Your work often involves moving text around, changing
appearance, substituting words, saving and printing. While
these commands can be accomplished by using your mouse to click
on the appropriate toolbar, your keyboard offers many
time-saving shortcuts that do not require you to reach for the
mouse. Learn these shortcuts one at a time and they will become
second nature to you.
The
Ctrl (control) key is located at the lower left corner (another is at the lower
right corner) of your keyboard. The
plus sign (+) indicates that 2 keys (sometimes 3) will be held down at the same
time. Keep the Ctrl key down while
pressing the appropriate letter key for each command.
