Lesson Title:
Farm Animals
Academic:
- The student will read and follow directions utilizing The Davis Farmland web site to bring up several photos of farm animals..
- The student will write the names of the animals they see.
Technological:
- The student will use basic technology vocabulary when referring to computer hardware, software, printer, monitor, disk drives, mouse and keyboards.
- The student will be familiar with the keyboard, mouse, and control keys (return key).
Pre-Requisite Technology skills:
The student will need to know how:
- to turn on the computer
- locate and click on the netscape icon
- locate and type in the given URL in the location box.
- (The student will have mastery of lesson #1- Welcome to the Internet, created by L. L. Limon.)

Accommodations for Special Needs:
The lesson will be taught using ESL techniques including many visuals on the computer screen and on the worksheet for children whose dominant language is other than English.

Evaluation will based on the completion of the work sheet with the animal names written.
