Subject: Math/AIMS Practice Tests

Objectives:

Academic: Students will be able to access the following URL:

http://www.funbrain.com to take the practice AIMS test. Students will

work independently to simulate actual testing.

Technological: Students will be able to access the URL (above) login using

their teacher’s name, their name and password. They will take a twenty

question multiple choice test requiring use of the mouse and keyboard.

 

Pre-Requisite Technology Skill:

Students will need to know how to start the computer, use the mouse, and

basic keyboard skills.

Materials:

P/C with internet access, URL info.

Special Needs:

None at this time.

Procedures:

  1. Students will access the internet through Netscape Navigator.
  2. Type in above URL.
  3. Students will locate the QuizBox, type in teacher (Wallum) for student password and then type in their name for Student ID box.
  4. Independently, students will take quiz.
  5. When finished, students can review answers with a partner who has also finished.
  6. Students will properly shut down computer.

Assessment:

Teacher will review results. Students will have a chance to re-take the quiz

to ensure mastery in hopes to better prepare for AIMS.
