Students will need to know how to access the Internet.

Students will need to be able to go to bookmarks and locate a certain site

• Computers with Internet access
• Printing capability
• Bookmark for the site: www.searsportrait.com/storybook/spring_98_form.html

1. Students will start the computers and proceed to Netscape.
2. Tell students to click on bookmarks. Then click on Mrs. Brown.
3. Once at the site, students will see a story format. They will be reading and filling in the appropriate blank spaces.
4. Go through with the class what each blank requires them to do.
5. Allow students to read the story and fill in the blanks with their personal information.
6. When they are finished and have filled in the blanks appropriately, allow them to print out their story.
7. When it is time to leave have students shut down the computers.

Assessment will be based on observation as the students are writing their stories.

Stories will be turned in for further assessment based on a rubric.
