Lesson Title: Puzzlemaker

Using the Puzzlemaker site, students will read and follow

directions on handout, to create a wordsearch, using words

from a desert vocabulary list created during a desert studies

discussion.

Technological:

Standard 1 and 2

Students will use basic technology vocabulary when referring

To computer hardware, printer, monitor, mouse and keyboard.

Student will enter information, edit and create their own puzzle

And print a copy.

Pre-Requisite Technology Skills:

The student will need to know:

*basic understanding of the functions of the keyboard to

enter data.

*how to locate internet and print icons, and use

bookmarks.

*terminology such as "scroll down" and "click".
