Academic: The students will read and follow written and oral directions to select and use online activities. The students will use various problem solving, decoding and mathematics skills to complete the activities that they choose. R-F1, R-F2, R-F3, R-F4, R-F7

Technology: The students will start and exit a computer program. The students will use a pull down menu.

The students will be familiar with technology vocabulary: icon, mouse, location box, and keyboard. Standard 1

Computer with Internet access

Turn on the computer

Click on Netscape Communicator

Click on the location box, highlight it, then press the delete key one time

Type in the URL http://www.funschool.com

Use the down arrow to scroll down

Click on second grade

Select an activity

Wait for the game to load

Click on the blue arrow if needed to play the game

Have fun and explore

Teacher will observe and monitor student output and behavior. Teacher will lead class discussion about what the students liked and disliked about the activity. Troubleshoot any problems the students may have encountered.
