Objectives

Academic

Students will be able to recall their favorite scene from Arthur’s Eyes by Marc Brown. Technological

Students will be able to create their favorite scenes from the book using KidPix. (Standard 1)

Pre-Requisite Technology Skills

Students will need to understand the different buttons on Kidpix and how to use them.

Materials

Kidpix, Arthur’s Eyes

Procedures

    1. Read the book to the class.
    2. Review the key aspects of Kidpix.
    3. Students will use Kidpix to create a picture of their favorite scene from the book.
    4. When finished, students will type their names on their picture.
    5. The teacher will put all of the pictures together to create a Slideshow for the class to watch.

Assessment

The assessment is the Slideshow.
