Objectives

Academic

Students will be able to recognize the letters of the URL.

Technological

Students will print a coloring from the Arthur section on www.pbs.org. (Standard 1)

Pre-Requisite Technology Skills

Students will need to be able to type, to know how to click on icons, and to know how to use the back button on Navigator.

Materials

Netscape Navigator

Procedures

    1. Post the URL on the computer or in the class where students can see it.
    2. Students will type in the URL on the computer and click on the icon for the kids section.
    3. Students will go to the Arthur section and click on their favorite character.
    4. Students will print out one coloring page from their favorite character.
    5. Students will close Navigator.

Assessment

The assessment is teacher observation.
