is a desert.

The Process
A Desert Definition
This site has a glossary
of desert definitions. Look up desert. Does the definition go along
with what you have learned?
-
Read the definition for
desert.
-
According to this definition how much percipitation does a desert get?
Number your page with 14 and write that answer in a complete sentence.
-
Compare this with Tucson's annual rainfall from question 12. Does
this mean Tucson is not a desert? On your paper write a sentence
or two telling why you think Tucson is in a desert even though the rainfall
is different. (Hint: Remember the answer you got for number 6.)
