Introduction

        The best known symbol of the Sonoran Desert  is probably the Saguaro Cactus.  On this page you will see pictures of this desert giant and learn a little about it.

Meet the Saguaro
          The saguaro cactus is a good place to start when learning about the Sonoran Desert and its plants and animals. To find out about this plant write Saguaro on your paper, number your paper to five skipping two lines between each number, then read the saguaro article. Write a complete sentence for each of these questions:
