3.  What do the colors on the Arizona State Flag represent? What symbol is on it, and what does it stand for?
    The colors on the Arizona flag are red, yellow, and blue.  The red and yellow colors on the flag stand for several different things.  There are 13 rays that stand for the 13 original colonies  of  the United States.   Coronado, who led an expedition in search of the Seven Cities of Gold, carried the colors as well.  The last thing that the red and yellow rays stand for is the setting sun.  The blue on the flag is in honor of the blue on the United States flag.  A copper star is the symbol because Arizona had the largest production of copper in the United States.
