Circulatory System Rubric


Your grade is based on the following rubric:

    Level 4 (Outstanding)
    You have:
1. Contributed to your group by finding and sharing information.
2. Clearly explained to your group why you found certain information interesting  (meaning another  student in your group would be able to repeat the reason).
3. Drawn all parts of the heart.
4. Labeled all all parts of the heart.
5. Accurately drawn how the blood moves through the heart.
6. Written a correct answer to
                "Why is the circulatory system important?"
             and related the answer to your own experience.
7. Accurately assessed yourself  (the teacher would give you the same rating).
 

    Level 3 (Almost outstanding!)
      You have:
1. Contributed to your group by finding and sharing information.
2.  Explained to your group why you found certain information interesting.
3.  Drawn all parts of the heart except for one mistake.
4.  Labeled all all parts of the heart except for one mistake.
5.  Accurately drawn how the blood moves through the heart.
6.  Written a correct answer to
                "Why is the circulatory system important?",
            but the  answer is not related to your own experience.
7. Accurately assessed yourself  (the teacher would give you the same rating).

    Level 2 (Acceptable)
    You have:
1. Contributed to your group by finding and sharing information.
2.  Explained to your group why you found certain information interesting.
3.  Drawn all parts of the heart except for two mistakes.
4.  Labeled all all parts of the heart except for two mistakes.
5.  Accurately drawn how the blood moves through the heart.
6.  Written a correct answer to
                "Why is the circulatory system important?",
    but the  answer is not related to your own experience.
7. Accurately assessed yourself  with only one or two mistakes.

    Level 1 (Needs improvement)
    You have:
1.  Not contributed to your group by finding and sharing information.
2.  Not explained to your group why you found certain information interesting.
3.  Drawn all parts of the heart with three or more mistakes.
     Or, you have not drawn the heart.
4.  Labeled all all parts of the heart with three or more mistakes.
     Or, you have not labled the heart.
5.  Inaccurately drawn how the blood moves through the heart.
6.  Not written a correct answer to "Why is the circulatory system important?".
7.  Inaccurately assessed yourself -more than two mistakes.
