What are we doing here?

At this site you will visit with Toucan Sam and learn about the Tropical Rainforest.  While you are learning, watch out for blue fruit loops.  If you click on a blue fruit loop, Toucan Sam shows you a special surprise!

What will we do?

When you enter the site, you will select different chapters that will tell you all about the Tropical Rainforest.  You will learn what a tropical rainforest is; what indigenous people are and how they live in this region; which plants and animals live here; and finally, what is the importance of the tropical rainforest.

The Process

1.  It is important to have these directions in front of you so go to the print icon on the tool bar
     above and print one copy.
2.  Now click on the link, Let's Visit the Tropical Rainforest with Toucan Sam
3.  Click on Toucan Sam's book to begin.
4.  Select What is a Tropical Rainforest? and begin to learn.
