Jefferson City
Here is the confluence of the Osage River and the Missouri, with a sand bar above the surface even during this high water season. Can you tell which one is the Missouri? (photo is taken looking upstream)
On a gray and misty morning, the elegant state capitol building stands brightly on the bluff overlooking the Missouri River at Jefferson City. (It took five passes in the Citabria at 700 feet over the river to get just the shot we wanted.)
