What I am committed to providing Holaway Elementary School students, parents and staff:

I believe that all students want to learn and want to enjoy school – sometimes outside events get in the way of those goals. Therefore, I am committed to keeping a positive attitude about how I can impact my students’ lives. I will find the best way to teach, and reteach, based on the needs of my students. I will be there to boost students who are having difficulty and I will allow students to struggle so they can see that working hard can be the best reward. I am committed to keeping an open line of communication with the families of my students.

Three things I am working on this school year are:

~ Helping my students get excited about writing!

~ Recommitting my energies to create useful and fun remote learning for all of my students whether it is online or on paper.

~ Focusing on what I do in my classroom that will impact students’ curiosity, particularly anything about Science!

Things I enjoy doing outside of school are:

Running with friends and my three big poodles, practicing yoga, quilting, and baking anything that tastes good!
