What I am committed to providing Holaway Elementary School students, parents and staff:

I am committed to the following: having an amazing year, collaborating with my team to ensure student success, communicating end of the year goals with parents, and getting the students ready for first grade!.

Three things I am working on this school year are:

Sharing ideas with my team, having the students make goals, and using every minute of every day for instruction.

Personal Information:

I have lived in Tucson, AZ for most of my life.  I graduated from Sunnyside HS in 1988, received my Bachelor's Degree in Education from the University of Arizona in 1993, and my Master's Degree In Language, Reading, and Culture from the University of Arizona in 1998. I love coffee, Dr. Pepper, spending time with my daughters, watching movies, Harry Styles, and the show Supernatural.  I am the proud mom of 2 beautiful, smart and talented daughters.  Ariana is 21 years old, is a very talented dancer and is going to graduate early from the University of Arizona in December 2022 with a degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences.  She plans to go to law school in AZ or NY. Bella is 18 years old, is also a very talented dancer, and is in her freshman year at the University of Arizona.  She made it into the very competitive dance program at the U of A (they only take the top 8% of dance applicants) and will also minor in business.  She hopes to move to NYC.  We also have a pit bull/blue heeler dog named Fish.  She is the absolute sweetest!
