Welcome Message: Hello, my name is Ernie Celaya. I am currently entering my 24th year of teaching, with the past 23 years here at Cross. I currently teach Physical Fitness and Weight Training, but also taught Math early on in my teaching career.Some of the roles I've held in the past are the after school tutoring coordinator for the past several years as well supervisor of athletics. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Education from the University of Arizona. I also earrned a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. I've considered looking into Administration in the future, however I enjoy being with kids in the classroom. In my spare time I love to work out, play guitar, watch sports, and spend time with my family. I have a wife and two daughters. One attends the Vail School District and the other is a Junior in college.
