• The world of communication has become a world where audiences want storytelling brought to them in new ways. The photographer storyteller with multiple skills has the best chance of delivering the story to the audience they want to reach. Photo Imaging III is one of the many classes offered at Canyon del Oro High School that prepare students for a career. In Photo Imaging III students learn skills that they can use for the rest of their lives. They learn how to use computers and desktop publishing to prepare text and images for publishing or for transmission onto T-shirts or other materials. This class will provide real-life situations for problem solving and critical thinking in the classroom. Students will learn the basics of planning, advertising, financial management, economics, people skills, computer competence, inventory control, and buying and selling as they practice the real world skills of running an art gallery and store.
