Mrs. Samah Eljerdi
My name is Samah Eljerdi AKA Mrs. E. and this is my 16th year teaching Math and my 4th year at Coronado.
I am currently teaching Math Intervention 6-8 and Advisory Class. I have five children who all graduated from Amphi District. I was born in Lebanon, a beautiful country on the Mediterranean Sea, and Tucson has been my home for the last 33 years.
Why I am committed to Amphi
I am committed to Amphi because of my belief in educating students to achieve their goals and enabling them to become successful in their future by creating a quality education.
Defining Moment in Education
Teaching runs in my family, but what inspired me to become a teacher are the dedicated teachers at Amphi District who taught my children.
Core Educational Belief
I believe every child has the potential to learn and succeed. I believe the role of the teacher is like "The bows from which our children as living arrows are sent forth" and, as Albert Einstein said, "The best environments we can provide for our students are the ones that lead them to take responsibility for their learning.
