Bachelor's Ecology & Evolutionary Biology Masters of Art in Teaching

Mrs. Shari Plapp

I am so very thrilled to be back in my adopted hometown, working in my alma mater district!  I am a proud Amphitheater district graduate, having attended Donaldson, Cross, and CDO.  Go Dorados!   I then attended the University of Arizona and obtained my Bachelor's Degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.  Upon graduation, my husband and I decided to spread our wings in the upper Midwest for the last 23 years with 12 in MN and 11 in MI.  I received my teaching licensure at the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis.  Shortly thereafter, we moved to MI and I eventually taught Kindergarten and 1st grade.  I have two amazing children: my 21-year-old daughter attends the UofA (sorry, I can't get behind this silly UArizona thing) studying anthropology and my son is a rising sophomore at Michigan State, studying criminal justice.  In my spare time, I enjoy traveling with my husband, spending time with my kids, playing pickleball, grooving at Zumba, and traveling!  I am so very blessed to be back in the Old Pueblo working at Wilson!
