Special Education teacher at Keeling Elementary for the past seven years. I have been teaching in the eighth grade English Language Arts inclusion classroom at AMS for the past six years.
Why I am committed to Amphi Middle School
I love the diverse community represented at this school and the passion and commitment to ensure every student realizes their goals.
Defining Moment in Education
Like many other special education teachers I became interested becoming a special education teacher because I raised a special needs child myself. I am familiar with the struggles and challenges these students and their families face every day. I have also experienced the joy of seeing a child succeed. As a parent I learned many things along the way and developed a strong desire to share and make a difference in the lives of special needs students and their families.
Why I Teach at Amphitheater Middle School
I love teaching here at Amphitheater Middle School. We are a kind school and it shows every day. The students and families here are the best. Amphitheater Middle School teachers and staff care deeply about students, and their education and futures.
