What I am committed to providing Holaway Elementary School students, parents and staff:

Because children are apt to live up to what we believe of them I am committed to providing clear, consistent, and optimistic expectations for every child to promote an enthusiastic and nurturing learning environment. I will have constant and open communication with my Holaway community. Family-teacher collaboration is crucial for student success so I am committed to communicating student progress with parents and working diligently with my Holaway team to ensure our students are making adequate growth in all areas of development. Learning is a lifelong journey so I am dedicated to continuously seeking opportunities for my own growth professionally and personally.

Three things I am working on this school year are:

Increasing my focus on student’s emotional intelligence and cultivating ways for them to be geared with social tools that will impact their lives and future.

Finding balance in order to give my best to all of my many roles-mom, wife, teacher, community member and graduate student.

Growing stronger physically and mentally through meditation, yoga, and Original Strength/kettle bell training.
