I have loved music for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a musical family, with performers in every generation. 

Defining Moment in Education

I was invited to teach in the school where I did my student teaching. This music position was my first job in education. I was honored to teach one of my college professor's children.

Core Educational Belief

I believe that all students can learn, and that everyone has unique strengths, talents and needs.

Prior Experience

My first ten years of teaching were in Ohio and New York. I have worked in the Amphitheater School District for 23 years now, for a total of 33 years. I love to help children find their "inner musician." It is very rewarding to help students learn to express themselves through music.
